Where it All Started 

          Ben has been writing songs since he was a kid, just pulling out an acoustic at parties and making his friends laugh. He and Joey Deaver met through MMA training, saw they liked the same music, and decided to jam. There was an instant creative connection, and everything was easy and fun. In no time, Ransackery became an actual band, recording songs, playing shows, collaborating, and evolving.

          About 10 years earlier, Ben's friend, Amy Coleman, made a custom longboard for Ben's birthday. On the bottom of that longboard deck, was a hand-painted cassette tape of a fictional band, named Ransackery. When Ransackery released their first song, they made sure that very longboard was included on the album art.
